Meet Shah Atiqur Rahman, Software Engineering Manager, Listing Intelligence. We talked to him about his function in leading our Listing Intelligence (Search) team and the methods in which he makes a difference at Realtor.com. Here's what he stated: Q. Tell us about your team. A. We own 9 backend search services that are core to the business's success. Among the most crucial is the Search API, which powers results on the Search engine result page. Our tech stack consists of Node.js, TypeScript, Python, Elasticsearch, GraphQL, Docker, EKS and AWS artifacts. We also work closely with the Machine Learning group to bring AI-driven functions to the customer experience, such as search relevancy improvements and AI-powered search. We're a collective, friendly team that focuses on strong onboarding and continuous support. New team members are directed through the ramp-up process up until they're positive taking full ownership of their work. Each employee is helpful to other group members when dealing with difficulties. We value a culture where wins are celebrated freely, and obstacles are owned together. We also make time for team-building, whether it's virtual hangouts or in-person parties, to keep camaraderie strong. Q. What's your greatest accomplishment up until now at Realtor.com? A. I'm most happy of the expert growth I've achieved because joining Realtor.com as a Software Application Engineer over 7.5 years ago. Throughout this journey, I've established deep domain proficiency, stayed up-to-date with evolving market practices, and consistently dealt with modern innovations. My dedication to continuous knowing and impact led to my promo to Staff Software Engineer and my role as one of the team's technical leads. Most recently, I have actually handled the obligation of being the People Leader for the team-an interesting next action that permits me to support others in their growth while continuing to drive technical instructions. I take pride in the fact that my long tenure here hasn't slowed my growth-instead, it's been a platform for me to progress technically and take on greater management Q. What should someone wanting to join us in #Tech understand? A.
