My psychotherapy client sits opposite me frozen in terror. We live in the world of "what ifs." Life is unpredictable and then it can be dangerous. But a majority of people wouldn't give an inspiration to facing an lift. The likelihood of anything bad happening is so low it approaches the impossible. Sadly, for my client, the worry feels so real she cannot walk-through the elevator doors. What she doesn't realize is because the danger she faces isn't a stuck elevator |
